As those of you may or may not have noticed, I’ve recently been less active on both GamerNode and my own Twitter account in regards to videogame content. There’s a specific reason for that, and I’ve waited until today to let you all know why.

I’ve taken on a new job at WWE in Stamford, CT. My position at the sports-entertainment giant is that of a digital/mobile content producer. Essentially, my job functions are primarily to create and publish second screen content for the WWE App, specifically for the upcoming WWE Network and even more specifically for NXT. I’ll be doing other shows as time moves on and also contributing to and/or even writing my own features for WWE.com when my primary duties aren’t overwhelming me.

So what does that mean for this site, my Twitter account, and my position at GamerNode? Firstly for GamerNode, I’ve decided to still stay on the staff and contribute to articles and podcasts when I can. As a result, you can still expect reviews, previews, features, and other lovely videgame-related content coming from yours truly, just in a less frequent rate as my contributions will be entirely reliant upon my schedule at WWE.

With regards to this site, it merely means that in addition to my GamerNode content, you’ll be seeing me add articles that I’ve written or contributed to on WWE.com now and possibly some WWE-related blog entries. You’ll notice I’ve begun preparing for my WWE work arriving on the site as I’ll now be labeling the beginning of each headline to each piece of content I submit with either “GamerNode” or “WWE.com.”

On Twitter, you can expect me to tweet a whole lot more about wrestling and WWE shows and probably less about video games. If you’re a wrestling fan, then it’ll be great to tweet with you more about the subject! If you were one of my gaming followers, then I’m sorry you won’t be getting as many great gaming tweets anymore.

This is a new chapter in my life, one that I’m truly excited for and jumping into head first. I hope you all join me on this journey and continue to read my content.
